April Crowdfunding Campaign Collection
April Crowdfunding Campaign Collection
The monthly round up of Network member projects
<BY>
After two months of just so many campaigns launching, April is turning out to be a much quieter month. There’s still a lot of really amazing projects looking for your support! It feels like it’s a tough time to be making art and an even tougher time to be funding art, at least in USA. Layoffs, and social media being more scattered, with higher printing costs, and tariffs (paid by importers and usually passed on to consumers) are all combining to make for slow progress on quite a few campaigns. If you need to save your funds right now, no one can blame you, but if you do have room in your budget, there’s a lot of amazing games on offer. Check out all these projects, and please share them with others who might enjoy them.

Assemblage: A TTRPG of World-building and World-breaking
Ending 3 April

Together, become a weird ecology. When the world shatters, how will we survive? Assemblage is a science-inspired eco-fantasy TTRPG by Nat Mesnard in which 2-6 players use prompt cards and a guidebook to collaboratively build the story of an interdependent ecosystem on the verge of environmental disaster. In Assemblage, you play not as a single character, but as an entire species. As each player imagines their own unique and fantastic creatures—deep sea leviathans, magical bacteria, insect cryptids, psychic cats, sentient moss—you will craft the story of an ecological assemblage: a group of species tossed together in a strange habitat, finding interdependent ways to survive. Then it will be time to encounter an epic environmental disaster—and discover how your assemblage responds.

Extra Ordinary: A Belonging Outside Belonging TTRPG
Ending 9 April
[Link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jaztice/extra-ordinary-a-belonging-outside-belonging-ttrpg ]
Extra Ordinary is a rules-light, GM-full, tabletop role-playing game about being a kid with extraordinary powers on the run from danger in the ordinary world. It uses the belonging outside belonging system and only requires tokens, a playset print out, 3-6 people, and your imagination to play! It's inspired by stories like Maximum Ride, Percy Jackson, and Animorphs, and it's often described as "X-Men meets The Goonies" or "Stranger Things but you're all playing Eleven." The Kickstarter funds will be used to create a hardcover book with stunning artwork by Stella Langecker.
Form Kodi Gonzaga.
OMG Cats!
Ending 26 April
[Link: https://tinyurl.com/4ab2s7d9]
OMG Cats! is the inevitable and much asked-for follow-up to Heckin’ Good Doggos. It follows the same rules and all-ages approach. Play as a real cat in the normal world. Hang out with the other cats in the colony and perhaps discuss the destiny written in the stars. Check in on what your No Tail is up to. That’s the helpless human who obviously needs the help of the colony just to survive. The game of cats doing cat things.
